Summary
T2S Solutions is seeking to hire a Director, Enterprise & AI Applications responsible for standing up and scaling enterprise data-to-decision capability. This role drives the design, integration, and operationalization of data, analytics, and AI/ML solutions across cloud, edge, and air-gapped environments. The Lead ensures deliverables including measurable mission advantage, analytics debt reduction, and establishes a repeatable integration and delivery model that differentiates T2S in defense and commercial markets.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership & Vision Execution
- Translate the Genesis vision into executable roadmaps, milestones, and measurable outcomes
- Lead the development of the T2S Analytics Engine Platform (AEP) as a governed, composable ecosystem
- Align platform capabilities with Department of War mission needs and adjacent commercial opportunities
- Identify capability gaps where T2S should build vs. integrate vs. partner
Platform & Architecture Oversight
- Define and enforce reference architectures for, distributed data pipelines, AI/ML lifecycle (MLOps), and Edge and disconnected operations
- Ensure interoperability between commercial tools (e.g., Axonis) and T2S-developed components
- Establish scalable patterns for data ingestion, normalization, and governance, model deployment across constrained environments, and secure cross-domain data flows
Productization & Capability Development
- Drive Genesis as a product-driven accelerator, not just a services effort
- Ensure all outputs are modular, composable, and reusable across programs
- Standardize reusable components, playbooks, and deployment kits, oversee development of new capabilities within AEP for Mission requirements exceed commercial offerings and differentiation is strategically valuable
Systems Integration & Delivery at Scale
- Lead end-to-end systems integration across heterogeneous environments
- Establish and refine a repeatable integration playbook for rapid deployment, mission tailoring, and multi-domain operations
- Ensure delivery teams can scale solutions across programs without rework
Partner & Technology Ecosystem Management
- Evaluate, onboard, and integrate partner technologies (e.g., Axonis and others)
- Define clear roles for partners vs. T2S-owned capabilities
- Ensure partner tools are leveraged as accelerators—not dependencies
- Maintain technical and strategic alignment with key vendors
Governance, Security & Compliance
- Implement governance models for data quality, lineage, access control, model validation and lifecycle management
- Ensure compliance with DoD and federal security requirements
- Drive secure-by-design principles across all Genesis capabilities
Mission Alignment & Stakeholder Engagement
- Interface with government and commercial stakeholders to translate mission needs into technical solutions
- Communicate value in terms of decision advantage, operational efficiency, and risk reduction
- Serve as the senior technical and delivery authority for Genesis initiatives
Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Build and lead cross-functional teams across data engineering, AI/ML engineering, systems integration, and platform engineering
- Establish engineering standards, best practices, and delivery frameworks
- Mentor leads and develop internal talent aligned to Genesis capabilities
Metrics, Outcomes & Continuous Improvement
- Define KPIs for analytics debt reduction, deployment velocity, model operationalization success, and mission impact
- Continuously refine the Genesis playbook based on delivery feedback
- Drive a culture of measurable outcomes and iteration
Data Holdings & Institutional Data Asset Management
- Establish and mature T2S’s data holdings capability as a strategic enterprise asset that captures, curates, governs, and reuses data generated across T2S programs, projects, exercises, experiments, demonstrations, and operational support activities
- Develop an enterprise approach for identifying, cataloging, preserving, and maintaining high-value data assets produced through T2S-led or T2S-supported initiatives
- Ensure data holdings are structured to support future analytics, AI/ML development, operational research, digital engineering, mission rehearsal, experimentation, and business development opportunities
- Define governance, access, quality, lineage, retention, and reuse models for T2S-owned and managed data assets
- Coordinate with program leads, technical teams, and stakeholders to ensure data capture is planned as part of delivery execution rather than treated as an after-action activity
- Leverage historical and emerging T2S data holdings to accelerate future initiatives, reduce startup friction, improve proposal credibility, and strengthen T2S’s position as a mission-informed data-to-decision partner
- Ensure appropriate security, compliance, classification, releasability, and customer constraints are applied to all data holdings
- Position T2S data holdings as a differentiating capability that compounds institutional knowledge and enables rapid mission-tailored solution development

Qualifications
- Active Security Clearance or the ability to obtain
- Bachelor’s degree & 10+ years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience leading large teams in fast paced, mission critical environments
- Proven ability to manage multimillion dollar equipment portfolios and resource allocation programs
- Strong background in risk mitigation, acquisition planning, and operational readiness
- Excellent communication, leadership, and cross functional coordination skills
