Summary
T2S Solutions (T2S, LLC) is seeking a Software Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and integrating complex technology solutions that meet business requirements. You will apply advanced knowledge in the software engineering to include software system design using best practice methodologies and patterns. You will develop software designs, including detailed technical specifications and system documentation, with support from a shared pool of resources. You will implement and test solutions, ensuring that they meet quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget. You will provide technical guidance and leadership to other members of the team. You will evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends for feasibility of use in project as requested.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Conducting technical feasibility studies for emerging science and technologies
• Document and implement software and system design including implementation, integration, workflows, and troubleshooting
• Document and perform software system test procedures, bug verification, and release testing
• Demonstration, testing, and evaluation of experimental platforms including hardware, software and network components in both lab based and military exercise based environments

Qualifications

• Active DoD Security Clearance or ability to obtain required
• Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field 3-5+ years of previous working experience as a software engineer and/or in a related application development capacity
• Understanding of Army and Joint Mission systems and how they interoperate, including development of mission workflows
• Experience with software development, integration, and solution architectures including working knowledge of Helm charts, Yaml configs or docker run configuration files and working knowledge of Linux operating systems
• Working experience and knowledge of Cloud based systems such as OpenShift, Orchestrator or RKE Knowledge of AWS, Oracle or Microsoft Cloud services is acceptable
• Good Service Oriented Architecture understanding. Hands-on experience designing and developing inbound and outbound integration interfaces. Knowledge or development of API Web services (REST and SOAP service), and experience with event-driven architecture and microservice development
• Knowledge and experience of XML related technologies (XML, XSD, XPATH, XSLT)
• Strong communication and leadership skills are also essential, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment

Compensation: $120-150k DOE
