Summary
T2S Solutions currently has an opening for a Bluetooth Developer to join our team. This position will be based out of our facility in Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, but the position can function as a hybrid role with remote work when circumstances allow. The ideal candidate will be experienced in Bluetooth communication protocols, especially in a prototyping/ experimental setting, as well as software and firmware development. We are looking for a motivated self starter who is both capable of working independently and in a team environment. Ability to interpret ambiguous requirements, think critically, challenge the status quo, a desire to seek out new challenges and continuously learn are needed to thrive in this position.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Bluetooth communication protocols and frameworks
• Implement Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) solutions for various applications and devices
• Integrate Bluetooth functionality into existing software and hardware platforms
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure Bluetooth connection performance and reliability
• Optimize Bluetooth communication for power efficiency, range, and throughput
• Remain up to date on the latest Bluetooth standards, technologies, and best practices
• Provide Bluetooth related technical support and guidance to teammates and partners

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, and 3+ years of relevant professional experience
• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain
• Proven experience in Bluetooth development with a strong portfolio of projects showcasing Bluetooth implementations
• Proficiency in Bluetooth protocols and standards (Classic, Low Energy, Mesh)
• Hands-on experience with Bluetooth development tools
• Familiarity with wireless communication technologies and protocols
• Experience in integrating Bluetooth communications with third party devices via SDKs and APIs
• Strong development skills in Java and/or Python
• Solid understanding of embedded systems and firmware development
• Experience with developing many to many Bluetooth pairing
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Demonstrated proficiency developing new CI/CD pipelines for software build, test, and deployment
• Demonstrated proficiency or ability to learn about DoD systems
• Experience with DevOps tools (Gitlab, Jira, Nexus, Artifactory, etc.)
• Hands on development experience with Android, Java, and Linux preferred
